President of Rock Solid Solutions, Mr. Berger has 28 years of proven experience in the blasting, rockfall mitigation and slope stabilization industries. Don has experience related to engineering and managing design/build projects for the transportation and mining markets, developing and optimizing designs through rock and soil mechanics, identifying project opportunities for regional operations and maintaining client relationships during project execution. Don’s combination of rockfall, blast design and slope stabilization experience along with common sense field applications provides our clients with accurate, efficient designs that can be constructed rapidly and perform well for their intended use. Mr. Berger has worked as a design engineer and contractor for various civil, mining, oil and gas clients and understands their diverse needs. Don received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1984 and a M.S. in Civil Engineering, Specializing in Rock Mechanics from the University of Minnesota 1990. He and his wife of 35 years call Glenwood Springs Colorado home where they raised four children.
Rock Solid’s Vice President, Mr. Davis has been working in the rockfall mitigation, blasting and shoring industries for eighteen years. A veteran of the United States Army, Robert served as a Combat Engineer where he was trained in the use of explosives and the safety procedures associated with explosives. Mr. Davis has specialized training from the Sapper Leadership Course where they were taught everything from basic repelling to high angle recue. Since his time in the military, Mr. Davis has been working extensively in the blasting, rockfall and stabilization industries. During this time, Robert has successfully completed projects for highway development, mining facilities, oil and gas development and for the private sector. Robert resides in Parachute Colorado with his wife of twenty years.
Patrick Breagy has been working in the blasting, rockfall mitigating and soil stabilization industries since 1998. He has extensive experience working on projects on the front end as an estimator and as a project manager throughout the duration of projects. Over the past twenty years Patrick has worked with a variety of government agencies on the local, state and federal levels. In addition to working with government agencies, he has extensive experience working with clientele in the mining, oil and gas exploration and private sectors. A graduate of Colorado State University in 1996 with a B.A in History, Patrick calls Durango Colorado home and lives there with his wife and two sons.
